When it comes to serving her community, Dr. Maria Flora G. Trimor-Tamoria is all-in! For the past 23 years, she has been practicing medicine and keeping her community healthy. As the current President of the Philippine Medical Association (PMA) of San Diego, Dr. Trimor-Tamoria is passionate about serving her community on both a local and international level, and providing opportunities for education through the promotion of scholarship programs. “I believe that education is the gateway to success in life,” Dr. Trimor-Tamoria shared.
Born in the Philippines, Dr. Maria Trimor-Tamoria is very proud of her roots, and shares that she is proud of her parents who struggled and worked hard for her and her siblings to become practicing professionals in the United States of America. “My Father was a carpenter who humbly pounded his hammer and chisel through the years in order to provide us the education that cannot be taken away from us. A legacy for a lifetime!” Through her individual and professional associations, Dr. Trimor- Tamoria supports scholarship programs as a way to give back to the community and help provide opportunities for others.
As a Primary Care Physician, Dr. Trimor-Tamoria’s patients express their gratitude for the level of care and attention she provides them. She is currently accepting new patients at her Euclid Avenue Office in National City. In addition to her involvement in the PMA, Dr. Trimor-Tamoria is also a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and California Academy of Family Physicians. When Dr. Trimor-Tamoria is not serving her patients at her clinic or serving the PMA, she can be found living life to the fullest, enjoying Zumba, dancing, playing billiards, being actively involved in her church, and spending time with her husband and son in San Diego.
