On May 2nd, Golden Physicians Medical Group held its Q2 PCP Meeting at Eddie V’s Prime Seafood Restaurant located near Seaport Village. The meeting was well attended and the doctors heard presentations by Dr. George Fields with Bright Health and Doug Rakow and Jaclyn Sanders with Silverado Hospice. Additionally, the doctors received an update about the new Annual Wellness Exam (AWE) Follow-up Visit program and the new PCP incentive to close the CMS Star Quality Metrics. Golden Physicians Medical Group has set lofty goals of achieving an Annual Wellness Exam (AWE) completion rate of 85% or higher and to achieve a CMS Star Quality Metric score of 4 stars or higher during 2024.
